So thanks to The Fifth Volt, our local dealer, I took delivery of another 2env and Vca which are everyday modules but I think will add to my performance quite a bit.
I look forward to exploring the Logic module(as I have pretty much ignored it) after reading NightMachines Envelope modulation Thread.
It made me think, Are there any modules that have taken your learning or performance to the next level or ones you have thought to be nothing but turned out to be awesome once you understood them.

Mylarmelodies made a cool video about "Why you can't have too many VCAs"
And because VCAs don't do much by themselves you need to pair them with LFOs and ENVs.
One module that has been underrated is the LOPAG. This was the very first module in AE that made a drum-like, percussive sound and I used very early on in almost all my patches. Then when the KICK and DRUMKIT modules were released, I pretty much ignored the LOPAG ... until recently when I got it out again and really enjoyed its clicky sound that cuts easily through any mix.
So that is my praise to the tiny, but strong LOPAG!

Really interesting video thankyou, a penny drop moment for me actually.
Its nice that an old module like lopag can be a fresh sound again.

If you Explore the Logic module, try this: feed two audio rate square wave oscillators as input, listen to the XOR output, and how the XOR output changes when you tune the oscillators. Insane amount of timbres and sounds out of such a simple patch! (credits go to admin for showing me this tip in one of his jams!) |

Good video, i've watched it before but i find i need to watch these kinds of tutorials multiple times for all the possibilities to sink in  I'll be needing that 4VCA soon for sure.... |

Yes awesome metallic sounds can be generated or interesting rythms when you use lfo rate oscillators. |

I really like the Lo-Fi delay, has a great character and made me go back to mess with the rest of my studio with delays etc. more. I plan on getting a 2nd one soon so I can do "Stereo", as I've just got a new case, :-)
