It looks very neat and well documented even I can understand whats going on. Do you think that it’s worth me writing some small ‘how to’ articles for the website? Maybe that will convert some people into coders 😁 … maybe there are specific questions that I could attempt to answer? Maybe part of the Wiki if for an AE module, admin ?!

Why don't we make a programing sub forum, just like we have the DIY subforum? Given the fact that there are a lot of arduino like processors living inside our (diy) modules. I'm sure there are tips and tricks to share on how to best program your arduino/C++ code in the real of the AE modular.

Hallo! I'd have a suggestion/req to do...
What about a simple index page with all available .wav firmwares readily available right now?
I have counted , downloaded and saved four .wav files from different posts (github, AE forum)
Something like a Sticky Index where there are all .wav listed as links (So it takes away the re/w-riting of all the extra stuff related to the firmware in question) Just the name and the down link of the original post. So ppl would know how many possible firmwares are out there...
PS: Theoretically, Kastle could also be included in the same index, so it would get to five... PPS: I'm missing the default firmware also, which I like a lot... So a CTRL-Z to go back to default firmware if don't like the new one... that's the main reason I went thinking on a index page... I was unable to find the def. firmware for Core AE.... it is a bit dispersive right now... maybe it has been posted but I could not find it...
AS for programming, I would like to give a shot at the Euclid pattern.... Just I have no idea how to convert the variations into a .wav file... Maybe I read something on how to do it but atm I have a blank panel in my head...
Cheers from Turin!!!

Grains uses the Arduino IDE, TBD needs a very complicated toolchain to compile properly with C++ and Boost libraries, I hope core1.ae could be as simple to program as Grains? Currently yes, there is an Arduino integration package for the core1 devices (both standalone and AE modular). The library functions are likely to expand in time as they are not anywhere near the feature set of mozzi etc. Extensions of the coding API could appear over time if there are requests (via github for preference) Integration package information can be found here: wonkystuff.github.io/arduino/Kastle also??? For the Euclidean patterns, I'd love to try some twisting...

All the Wonkystuff-developed firmwares (including the default one, Dr1) are available here as .WAV files There's a link to that on the Core.ae wiki page. Maybe it would be nice to have some other home-made firmwares listed on the wiki too - i'm not sure how many there are? I wrote a basic comparator, i'm sure there are some others floating round the forum. edit: tgergo's dual trigger to gatecomparator with .WAV download

Here in York we’ve been playing with some bytebeat stuff as well, mainly driven by a friend of mine — expect to see that soon!
