next step add some kick that you sync via the step outputs of your seq8.

The title says it all. All you need to add is a string sound,

This was going to be more complicated but couldn't get it to work reliably for the video and was too irritating, so you have this instead! Apologies for occansional fuzziness, think I needed a higher light level.
The Joystick is going through the Quantizer, the Solina is what is making the pulse via an LFO, VCA and envelope....
The only FX used is the Ping Pong program.

Good evening all, First off thank you for the compliments, it feels great to be finally churning out a few jams with my evolving system and participating in my small way to the great collective adventure that is AE Modular! I’ve done two more in the past few days but haven’t had time to upload them, so here they are. Both are a fair bit more stripped down than the first jam. ”Duendes Huilenses II” probably gets a little boring after a while, but the repetition conveys the memory I had in mind when setting up the patch. I’ve written a little about it on the soundcloud page if anyone is interested. In “Monsoon” I also used a bass driver pulled out of a speaker to turn it into a microphone I can tap on, makes great organic kick sounds (was not easy keeping in time while also trying to modulate knobs on the AE!). Also featuring is a self-resonating SVfilter which sounds like a flute playing a gamelan melody. I hope you enjoy

(root)² that flute is pretty cool and really like the sound of Duendes, puts out imagery of your hike around those tombs. This is my 31st. Thanks all for tolerating my spamuary. it's been fun. Some of this one I was happy with some not, was thinking of not putting it up but then why not its the last day, might leave the patch up and play with the parts that need work like the sound mix and the last voice, anyway Cheers!

(root)², great jams. Definitely not bore by the second track, it had good movement and was quite hypnotizing.

Last AE jam to finish jAEmuary Same one-row AE rack as in the video above, having fun with the 555 prototype and two prototypes by m4vrick . Track starts out with the Chords sequenced by my Arturia Keystep. Chords go through MS20 filter. Second melody joining in is the 555VCO, sequenced by the RBSS + 5Steps + Quantizer combo for great semi-random fun. With this routing I basicly can 'set' the five notes i want in my melody with the five steps, but the RBSS decides which one is getting played, and the quantizer is added for ease of use (also making it possible to change notes live without playing the 'in between' notes from the scale you might not want). Throughout the track I mix the sine, ramp, tri and pulse wave of the VCO. This VCO goes through the wasp filter. Around min 2:10, the additive VCO joins, steered by the Sloth through the quantizer, giving some real generative, semi-randomness. soundcloud.com/zzzvm/heythere/s-PFWooAGD0Qw

Last but not least, my final jaemuary session. This time a full techno jam with an added Microkorg for pads and a good old 909 kick triggered in Live (can’t wait for my next modules to come through, got some proper percussion in there). It was a lot of fun taking some free time to go further than just learning to patch, to finally record something. So much pleasure from participating in the AE adventure amongst all you wonderful devotees. Apologies for the poor mixdown, it’ll probably only sound balanced at all in some HD25 headphones…but I had to get it done before midnight! (otherwise who knows…the gremlins might…)

When the kick started I was like 'hmmm, i thought it would be double that tempo', and then it DELIVEREEEEED

it's no longer january, but why not let the spirit continue?
just set this one up and let it run for a while without touching it, Sunday afternoon as the sun was going down

I really loved this one. Very nice soundscape. It had a lot of little moments (e.g. at around 1:20) where there was a combination of sounds that made me go "wow, that was beautiful" in my head. What core.ae firmware were you using? Btw, is there a longer version that just continues?

Thanks! There's no longer version i'm afraid but it's still patched up so maybe i'll work on it a bit further. Solina through the MS-20 filter with a slow LFO on the filter cutoff makes the most beautiful swells. Need that Sloth module so I can get them even slower! Using Karplus-Strong mode on the core.ae, and Wavetables coming in now and then

Februjamy!
I imagined floating under the ocean and watching the little critters that are making those beautiful little momentary sounds going about their business. beautiful.
Like the clear knob too.
