2 influences for this one. The grains speak and spell code and the Sax discussion. Tried to get some of that old time Sax appeal in there. cheers

Received the Sawvox and FMOS yesterday care of minimodular so of course had to do a jam. I also received the switch matrix but haven't looked at that yet.
Love the Sawvox!
The Sawvox carries this one most of the way through. The FMOS only comes in later on. Sloth through Great divide into Sawvox to modulate then into Dronx.
Also joining in is the solina and wavetables.
cheers

Here the Switch matrix module is changing the clock tempo into the RBSS and Topograph.
The RBSS is then randomising the Moco and the Moco is gating the sound sources via qvca and triggering the 2*seq8 into Sound Source.
The Topograph is triggering the Kick and Drum101.
The Switch Matrix has 4 clock tempos from various triggers fed to the inputs with 2 outs and 16 presets have been set up.
The Joystick is controlling the CVPreset, PresetUp and PresetDown.
Once the Joystick is moved then it waits until the EucGrid starts its next 2*8.
Then it will move the preset up, down or random.
The Random is set up using the Noise through the 2Att/CV turned down to only cover 16 presets not 64 and then through S&H. Using EucGrid and 2Env.
Its not very action packed as far as the above is concerned and is a longer one due to it being more a generative patch that went on for hours on the random setting.
Hope the idea is interesting.
cheers

Have been enjoying the Ae so much I wanted to remember this time by putting out an album that reflects this. I also wanted to be proud of the sounds so Max mastered my favourite tracks for me. Amazing what he did to my badly recorded jams. So here is a release. cheers! maydonpoliris.bandcamp.com/album/hysteria

I'm thinking to try and get a battery-powered synth picnic going before it gets into proper autumn - just have to do some repairs to my battery stuff. (may involve 'topping up' an old SLA battery or two)

Thanks Rod! oh wow yeah mate in Sydney out near Richmond. Didn't realise you were here, I've seen your setup previously and thought how cool it would be to see you busk with that but thought you've got to be in Europe somewhere. Battery powered picnic would be cool. Now I've got an excuse to get a battery! cheers Dan

I was thinking the park at Bronte beach would be fun, but maybe we should aim for Paramatta so you don't need to make such a trek across town. Maybe we should propose something for the Paramatta Lanes festival in October (if we manage to find ourselves between viral outbreaks by then!). r.

Have been locked down for ages so either way is good. audience! Lanes Festival! Jesus, I haven't done anything outside sitting on the lounge and I get stage fright in front of the dog! Same, will need to get me setup together, find a suitable battery/cord etc. Will check out a few recommendation threads. we would need scuba gear at this rate too.....

we would need scuba gear at this rate too..... Oh, and you are on the flood plain where you are. The Nepean river has been fairly well-behaved so far though hasn't it?
admin Carsten lives near the river mouth in Bega and has had some close calls with floodwaters. March could be a bit damp too, like last year. Friends in southern Queensland are seriously sandbagging it right now though...

Nowhere near the previous flood and now I know it'd have to be even worse to reach us. It was more I was hoping the rain stops soon. Hope things end well for your friends. It doesn't look good at the moment so hopefully levels off. Yes Carsten has been hit with every hazard down there over the past few years. glad you enjoyed the mozzie jam too cheers Rod.

Currently there are a few roads flooded down here, also close to my home, but only minor flooding so far. The real deluge is expected for Wednesday! (this is a road just 100 meters away from my house)

That's not a road, this is a road. Seriously that looks like a lake. With my internet knowledge of Aussie fauna I could not be tempted to venture outside. Where's crocodile Dundee when you need him? I hope you can all keep your feet, your loved ones, and your synths dry and safe.

I made a website a few years ago to monitor river levels (I'm scraping the website of Australian's Bureau of Meteorology). This is todays level for the river in front of my home ... we are OK as long as the level stays on or below the red line (which should only happen every 20 years).

Hopefully that graph keeps going down 'cause it seems like these years will go down anyway as those miserable twenties where feces hit the fan in every possible way imaginable. So far we've had pest and war, next thing you know floodings will become one of the apocalypse's new horsemen.
