I'm not sure if my solina module isn't wired correctly or if I'm missing something.
When I turn the 4th note switch to the on position nothing happens until I flip the 7th/base switch. After the 7/B is selected the correct interval plays. However, if I turn the 4th note switch to off, the note does not shut off.
When I send clock/gate/audio signal to 4th gate input it does not change the 4th note on or off. But if I flip the 7th/bass switch with voltage in the 4th gate input, it induces a chord variet.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Mafic_Pulse, I must admit that I've never investigated the behaviour of the 4th knob in much detail, so thank you for bringing this up! I've now experimented on my Solina and can confirm the following behaviour: 1. when a chord plays with the 4th not "off" and you then switch it to "on" you will get either a 7th or bass noted depending on the bass switch. 2. once the 4th note is on it will continue to play even after switching it to "off"! 3. however when the 4th is playing and the switch is "off" it will turn off when you change the chord 4. when after a chord change you then switch it to "on" it will play again. The exact same behaviour is happening with the 4th Gate. This means that the 4th note can only be switched on for the duration of a chord playing, but can't be switched off, unless you change to a new chord. I'm not sure if this is desired behaviour or a bug. But if it's a bug it has been in there for over 3 years and no one has found out about until today  |

I had never noticed myself. I will consider it a feature  since it does not botter me in the slightest. |

It feels like a bug, but I'm not smart enough to know how/ if it could be fixed.
You can get random or logical patterns from putting a gate into Mode CV directly from the SEQ8 gates. That's the feature you're talking about?
Do your SEQ8 modules have only a small range for changing CV I-V on each of the 8 steps? I only have results in the last 25% of knob rotation (1pm to 5pm ish) for changing the note.

Sending a specific voltage range into the mode cv input will make the seq8 run forward, backward, ping-pong or random through its steps.
That sounds weird. I know that the scales put on the potmeter steps are a bit optimistic but what you describe sounds off.
