This was very surprising and inspirational to me. If there is ever a new film to be made about the life of Eric Dolphy, then Andre 3000 would be my number one pick.

Not sure how I feel about his latest album though but i definitely liked the insights he shared in this interview, good interviewer as well.

Not sure how I feel about his latest album though but i definitely liked the insights he shared in this interview, good interviewer as well. I like the idea that he just makes an ambient flute album after all these years, more than the actual album. It's just a decent ambient album, but nothing to special imho. I'm sure it has made A LOT of people sit down to listen to some ambient for the first time though, which is great. (also the song titles made me laugh, which is always nice) |

I have the feeling that your average joe would not have the same audience if (s)he put out the exact same album though. Some of that flute work is nothing special, and don’t get me started on the rain stick  Song titles are indeed ace. |
