I'd like to see some DIY module kits. I think it we be great to teach people some assembly and soldering skills.
How about a DIY Atari Punk console and a DIY Baby4 step sequencer in kits that you can put together yourself and learn from?
I'm going to try make these myself to learn (I might need help with that) but having all the components in a bag, with a nice perf board and AE modular stamped face plate would be so cool.

Hi audiojack, this is a great idea and I have a feeling that something along those lines is cooking already at the tangible waves lab in Murnau.

Probably something along those lines, but also a lot more than that. And that's all I can say at this stage

As i remember Robert (like me) came from the crazyness of Lunetta CMOS style sound makers. There are many possibilities with basic CMOS chips. The logic module in AE synth shows the tip of the iceberg. CMOS works fine in a 5V setting, so many of the Lunetta style "modules" that is out there will work fine with the AE synth. Abused Electronics -way to go Mikael
