Hi, I tried it, inspired by this videos. ... and it works! Soldering on both sides is difficult for me, I wanted to save space. But the effort was worth it. Roberts GRAINS module is more convenient. But DIY is DIY

Nice build. I was wondering how difficult it would be, especially fitting it into one module.
Awesome.

I think it can be optimized. But you should first think about which pin you solder first The space is very limited. I'm just going to build one more. More GRAINS more fun.

This is so cool! Congratulations for getting this done, it looks really neat! Yes it's always good to have more GRAINS ... what do you think of my new system

I think my first thought on powering up Grains for the first time was. "How many more of these should I have bought?"

I think my first thought on powering up Grains for the first time was. "How many more of these should I have bought?" I can understand that. I feel the same. I still have 5 nano boards in stock ... I'm still thinking.

When GRAINS come true... I think it's enough for this moment

In the schematic there are twu rectangular symbols with a sloping line in them, and a triangular symbol.
What does they mean ?

Hi Mikael,
I think with my little knowledge of electronics it is a LP filter and buffer. I ignored that in my low cost version.
If you want I can draw a circuit diagram for you.

Thank you that would be very nice. I am thinking about building a double (or triple ) grains module. How does yours sound without the filter and buffer ? Mikael / MikMo

I don't have an original GRAINS. I can't compare it. I use it as a noise generator, so clean sound is not important to me. But I think it's very OK.
I paint the circuit diagram for you at the weekend.
