Hey, just received my first few modules on Thursday and I'm very excited to get stuck in making music! I've started small with a master, vco and wasp filter, with the plan to build up my system gradually and hopefully do some DIYing along the way. I've already mounted my Bastl Kastle and I was wondering if anyone has tried modding any of the Korg Monotrons to work with AEM? I've got an old Monotron delay lying around so thought it might be a good project to expand my humble setup. TIA!

can we see a photo of the mounted Kastle? mounting a monotron would be interesting. might have to get a spare second hand one and take it apart. It runs on 2AA batteries so i think it's 3.3V so you'd have to adapt that.
edit: the monotron PCBs seem to be an awkward 11cm wide, which would require 5U!

Hmm yeah that's a hefty bit of a real estate to commit. Although I've got quite a bit of space at the moment so I could manage it while I haven't got many other modules. I've already opened it up a while back to get to the LFO and add a resonance pot so I might just got at it and see how successful I am...
