The first wonkystuff module for AEModular was the mm33 3x3 matrix mixer — described on the AE Modular wiki. It's available from the wonkystuff web site here!

Having built up my confidence on Keurslagerkurt modules; the price reduction on the MK1 MM33 made me take the plunge and buy having fancied one for ages. It was very easy to build - didn't even really always follow the instructions, soldering was straight forward and managed not to fry the chip, (debated buying a PCB/chip holder but decided to go for it). After checking all the connections with a magnifying glass I plugged into my AE and that for it for an hour or so. Only wanted to check it worked! Being only used to normal mixers it bent my brain for a little while but a matrix mixer is brilliant for combining sounds/FX and great fun with CVs (now I want a CV controlled matrix mixer!). My favourite thing so far is to put 2 or 3 things into the inputs, (Solina and/or oscillators at different pitches, ), then 1 out is straight out to the main mixer, another MM33 out goes to the phaser and is full wet mix/wet out to the mixer and the last out goes to the spring reverb (also full wet mix/wet out) to the main mixer. You then control the amount of sound(s), FX and the wet/dry mix on the knobs of the MM33; this may turn into a Youtube video for Jamuary if I'm not too busy tomorrow.... You can set max volumes on the indiviudal iputs on the main mixer if needed but I was just experimenting and enjoying myself, . Anyway, another great Wonkystuff module, highly recommended if you don't have yet.
