I’m sure this one speaks the same 0-5v and is interpatchable with AE, just like he original Kastle. Sounds like it could add some nice extra flavors to a Topograf centered drum patch.

The original Kastle is sympatico with AE, as you surely know, so I don’t see why this one wouldn’t be. That trig input is right there for the patching! But I do think it functions as a single drum voice, with variability in timbre created by modulation, so it would probably work best with only a single channel of topograf.

They've released the code via GitHub ( github.com/bastl-instruments/kastle) and confirmed the hardware is the same as the Kastle 1.5 so if you have any experience flashing Attiny chips and a Kastle 1.5 you can try it out. |

I can confirm that the Bastl Kastle Drum works brilliantly with AEM. imo it should be considered as an essential external module. It prefers the old style AEM silver wires as the new ones are a bit too thick. You can patch in and out of it to AEM. There are ALOT off potential patching scenarios. Fantastic little box. Still learning it though.
