First weekend with the AE Modular, I LOVE IT SO MUCH. First time fun with a modular system too. Feels really great. Big thanks to Robert & the rest of tangible waves for making such a fantastic instrument. Shipping was also lightning fast, so big thanks for that too!!
Patch is relatively simple, using a pulse wave of the 2VCO blended with one octave higher square VCO for the main melody (sequenced by Digitakt). Ran them both through the SVfilter together with some nice white noise blended in. Used the second 2VCO for a saw wave through the wasp and the SVFilter sequenced by the SEQ8.
Hope you guys enjoy! Also looking forward to getting in touch on this forum, seems like a great and warm place!

You have been one of the ytb creators that I've been following for a while, your great sounding patches and pieces are one of the reasons I decided to make the jump 😊 so thanks for the nice video's and nice words!!!

Even through my little telephone speaker, this had me dancing! It harks back to a time when the nocturnal residents of Rotterdam considered 147 to be a _chill-out_ tempo. I really like the way this jam develops over time and keeps your interest by leaving lots of little holes for your ears to fall into. Welcome!

Oh, so how do you see the beats per minute? I'm still somewhat new to a lot of this tech. Is it a drum machine?

It's a sampler/drum machine and I assume he's running the clock from that over midi into the modular. That's how I clock my setup (except with a Deluge instead of a Digitakt)

Oh, so how do you see the beats per minute? I'm still somewhat new to a lot of this tech. Is it a drum machine? Yeah, its on my drum machine / sampler which is indeed a Digitakt! I love that machine a lot, it's my go-to for drums, fx and even some synth sounds. It has a lot of live flexibility also, which I enjoy a lot. And it's compact! I send clock + midi notes (CV + gate) from my Digitakt to the AE Modular and Arturia Microfreak here. In that way I can also quickly switch between patterns and melodies for the AE.

A bit late to the party, but this is fantastic! Well done! The MicroFreak looks huge, compared to the AE rack. Thought that synth was more ... micro ... actually
