Today I saw these on the Bela.io website and thought that it would be so cool to have a whole board of them to control the various modulation sources on my AE system. These sensors are made for the Bela and Bela Mini, but apparently they are also compatible with Arduino. bela.io/products/trill/I hope one of you DIY geniuses will make an AE integration for this soon

Oh noo , thanks for picking that up! Have you made anything with this yet? ha ha... its only because Ive done quite a bit with bela Ive written some test code, then realised I needed to get some more cables... (which Ive got now) but sadly, since then Ive been prevaricating quite a bit... mostly around form factor... I bought 5 hex, 3 bars and 1 square.. and ive not really decided on a layout that would work well, or if I should use them on different projects. ... I really should just 'bite the bullet' and do something with them! my basic idea is to make a standalone instrument... that then will a) have a built in 'synth' (Ive a bela mini as well) b) spit out midi and cv.... cv is a bit tricky, given number of sensors, it would be something like 10 cv and 6 gates (perhaps i2c as well?) anyway, I'd do need to do something, as its all been sitting on my desk for an embarassing amount of time
