I know there is an update to the basic VCO. It may be too early to ask, but will it be a fully featured VCO, even if it takes up a two or three spaces?
I like FMOS, but it lacks features that the VCO has such as fine tuning, modulation depth on the main oscillator, sync. Also the 2OSC/d has better stability but also lack some of the basic features that the VCO has. Is there a way to get all those features in one module, even if it's three spaces wide?
Size isn't a limit for me, especially with the new four row case. I don't mind filter being the size of the Steiner filter. Or VCOs the size of a WAVETABLES.
I'm just trying to figure what my oscillator options will be for the next six months or so. Five oscillators will be a good number for me. I will probably settle on at least one WTF when Dove Audio releases it, and at least two new VCOs, especially if they are fully featured. If not then probably rack up a pair of WTFs and WAVETABLES from Dove Audio.

What I'm working on is a new, extended VCO with 2 units width, coarse/fine pitch, modulation attenuator for pitch and pulsewidth, linear FM, soft/hardsync and mixer for saw/tri/pulse (basically all the features the chip offers). If this works, then the current, basic VCO will be replaced by a new one based on this chip family, but still 1U wide.
