A DIY noisebox, made of metallic things, sent via 4I/O and 2SignalAmp into the AE modular. Good news for contact microphone fans: it works, although I had to send the signal 2 times to the 2SignalAmp to have more impact. The audio went on different routes thru the modules to the mixer. Different sounds have been recorded in separate takes with different settings and put together with Reaper … Because no external or otherwise additional FX has been added, you mainly hear the LoFi-Delay (less) and the MultiFX module (more) of the AE modular (sometimes the Wasp is LFOing in on one track, and the Nyle Module is filtering some noise from the LofiDelay, but no mixer FX and no VST FX). The idea was to hear some of the capabilities of the MultiFX. And I like it. (The hiss surely is mostly from the contact mic and the Behringer USB Mixer.)

Cool! Could you post a picture of the setup with your DIY noise box?

Great fun and really inventive. This is something that I haven't tried with real sounds, although I did something more synthesised about a year ago using the Madrona Labs Aalto VST and Nodal. You have given me some ideas.

The setup: Thanks! Do you have several mics in there or just one? I built a spring synth as well some time ago, but only with those regular springs. I always wanted to make something like you did there with more different things to bend, touch and twang, like the Folktek Gardens.

Do have a link to listen? ;-) krakenkraft I didn't include it as it wasn't really AE Modular-related, so it seemed a bit off-topic. But as you ask, here you go, it's called "Lost in Time". I called it that as I imagined it as something that was created in a concert hall in the late 50's and had somehow come to light on an old (but very well-preserved ) record.
Edit: Having seen the way the picture has been cropped above, I want to assure you that it is merely a statue from Berlin... defintely not something more dodgy.
I have two Soundcloud accounts, full (literally) with various experiments, some of which have subsequently made it through to my Bandcamp page. I was thinking that I'll clear out a lot of material and start putting up some of my new work-in-progress, or AE Modular noodlings.
The Soundcloud accounts are here:

NightMachines this clip (and another that I will post separately) won't help you stop wanting a Folktek Resonant Garden. If you know Ian Boddy, you will have seen this already:

As you can only include one link per post, here is the second clip using the Folktek Resonant Garden:

Very nice spring synth! No, it's only one mic because I would only I'd only have one signal chain to go anyway, but I'm working on a new one with a different concept (hanging!) which will have two.

Noisebox is perfect for "concrete" and/or "electroacoustic" music.
Folktek gears are fine "sound objects" but a bit expensive. I prefer the DIY-noisebox way.
