What scope can you recommend for signal analysis in the AE modular and debugging diy projects? Preferably nothing ridiculously expensive but also no 15$ chinese diy kit with a screen the size of a poststamp.

Believe it or not; the only scope I have is a cheap chinese DSO138; up to now it was sufficient for all development purposes of AE modular. SOmetimes I miss a second channel.
Otherwise, RIGOL is the company for lower-priced scopes that are more serious than the DSO138. E.g. the Rigol DS1052E, 2 channels, 50MHz bandwidth, price under 300 EUR

I have the Rigol DS1052E Robert mentioned, i'm very happy with it but it's an investment at 250 euros of course. But i love having two channels, nice controls and good measurements, had a lot of fun with it already.
There are decent China handheld DSO based scopes for less money. They are def more than okay, i'd say however pay a little bit more than 15$ to get one with a good casing, some nice knobs and good probes. Or maybe the scope module is all you'd need, very excited for when mine will arrive!

I'd build a Rackversion from a DSO150 for my Eurorack-Case. No need for more ...
