I've finished my first introduction video about the two drone modules. This is just a short demo, followed by detailed explanation of the modules and some thoughts on how to use them.

A really nice demo, admin A large part of drone music is summed up with the sounds that you achieved quite quickly (well, in the video), and the effort of tuning banks and bringing them in was really well displayed and executed. I've been trying similar things for a while now, although not with the AE Modular (not least because the modules didn't exist); however, my wanting to do it in the first place was stimulated by the mention of the AE Modular 18-oscillator module quite a long time ago. I've found that, rather like those carpet-makers, you have to accept, if not actually place, the imperfection(s) in there just to make it come alive. So, a big "Well, done", I can easily see some people, who aren't current AE Modular users, being drawn to this as they are now being able to put together a drone synth for really reasonable sum. Robert could even produce a Drone System, with the relevant modules in a case for a good price. Aim at the right market and you have a real winner - a whole system for the price of one module in Eurorack world It's a nice addition to the world of AE Modular, in my opinion, and your video does it proud.

Really really great sound! They are the two modules I'm more excited about.

Only ordered the DRONX. Seems nice for pre-mixing of complex evolving voice... Anyway might get a DRONE38 as well because never know

I was thinking... Can't we use the METER to tune the DRONE38?

I was thinking... Can't we use the METER to tune the DRONE38? I don't think that works, but I'll try it out tomorrow.
