So, I'm building my new case and I have an issue with the Hinge Kit type 2. I don not know in what sens I should plug it. it works in both. Should the red line be on top or bottom? Dose it matter? Will it smoke? Will it burn? Will Smith? Will the world fall appart??

You can put the connector cable in any which way you want, just don't twist or cross it.

Hello morgs, you've got the cable twisted so that it's plugged in the wrong way.

New development: I swapped out the ribbon cable from the smaller case as it's longer and have used that to connect the two larger racks. The ribbon cable doesn't twist and now powers both racks. Problem sorted! Thanks admin. Can confirm it's not a good idea to twist your cables :o
