in the MIXCONSOLE description, it says :
"The channel levels can be controlled via CV inputs, if no CV is attached, the level knob works as usual volume control."
how does the modune knows if something is connected to the cv input ?
I'd like to implement such a fonctionnality in a future diy module.

This can be accomplished in the following way: The input has a voltage follower opamp; it's input is pulled by a relatively large resistor (100k - 1M) to the desired "default" voltage (e.g. 5V). By this, the voltage follower has also this voltage at it's output, when nothing is connected to the input. If a certain CV is connected to the input, this one has a much lower impedance / output resistance, so it overrides the default voltage. Of course this is not 100% perfect, but for usual synth modulation CVs this is good enough (IMO). HTH...!

Thanks Robert
and correct me if I'm wrong
when input is not connected to a signal the result output signal will be the same as if the input signal is 5v ?

I was surprised and delighted to see this functionality as well. Would this mean that a “switching jack” implementation is also possible, by using some kind of VC switch IC?
