Well it's been a very busy few months for me. Besides doing the podcast a few weeks back I've basically been MIA! That changes today with a new ambient session. 100% AEM (besides my added field recording of bubbling dry ice (also where the video came from)). I hope it's as relaxing for you to listen to as it was for me to make. 🎧 Recommended!

I got hyptonized. The video and the repeating small percs got me I think.
Thanks for this

I'm a simple man, I see a new slowscape video I check it out. Grand production and matching video, again. Is this a one take recording or did you record multiple tracks of AEM goodness and mixed those together in a daw/multitracker? Asking for a friend.

jubin glad to hear! I’ve always been a fan of little percussion and clicky sounds, so those were a happy discovery while making this. pt3r thank you for such a nice comment! I’m glad my music would evoke such a response. Everything besides the addition of watery sounds was done in a single take, which is pretty much my style because it’s honestly all I have time for! 😆

... "That just needs a little tweaking and then it will be ready" ... Yeah right, those track are for me dead in the water. If I don't catch the essence in the first recording then there is very little chance that extended editing will all of a sudden bring the magic.

real nice Slo! That was a lovely start to my week, not been feeling great this weekend and this helped a lot! I second the comments on the percussion, those sounds are great! Did you manipulate the 'tone' on the Solina during recording or run it through a different filter?

Thanks all! pt3r, great insight! All the more reason not even to go that route martynaudio, so glad to hear, that was the goal for myself as well. I find myself listening to this track more than I honestly should since it's my own! I ran solina through the MS-20, where I had random RBSS voltage going to the CV, so that's where the feedbackie resonance came from @m. J. Hood Music Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!!

This is a really stunning piece. With the running water sound it did initially make me want to piss. But I keep going back to it. The melody is very haunting. Nice shifting tones. So simple in it's execution. Probably one of the best AEM piece I have heard yet. Great graphics too of course.
