Oh, man! It may be time to shelve Cirrus, focus on more analog components.

Well as long as its still going to enable your company turn a profit if you keep it as close to the bottom line as you can 25 to 50 is going to have to be my comfort zone supply and demand I demand you supply cheap modules but you and your team still have to eat Robert and let's face it all the other modules are well priced so it'll probably balance itself out in the long run as long as you drop the prices when the chip price comes down its gonna have to be done its economics and its still not eurorack prices so its still a win win for your customers I'm sure

Honestly, Claude mode in the TBD module looks like a viable alternative, especially since the current version of Cirrus will be original only.

The TBD is mono. Cirrus is stereo. Not sure of the other differences. I'm sure there is more to it than that.

Can anyone with experience tell me the main differences between the two? well it’s all about control ... the TBD only has 2 knobs and 2 assignable CV inputs. whereas the Cirrus has a knob for each of the ...excuse me while i count ..... 10 parameters ( 11 including ‘hold’ ) and a cv input for each.. still once you’ve set the Claude plug in up to yr liking , the 4 TBD parameters might be enough control for a lot of uses?

I feel like the stereo spread would be a big feature to loose if you go with the TBD plugin.

Are there any tbd in the wild yet? I've a couple on order and have heard nothing as yet.

I've a couple on order and have heard nothing as yet. yep,, i have it.. taking a while to try out all the available plug ins as they have reduced the favourites down to 10 for the moment to solve some problems.. i DO like the Tape Delay ,, and the version of MI Plaits in there though..

Ah good news, maybe mine won't be too far away then. Looking forward to working out the plan with this... thinking of mainly generation but will probably get distracted by the effects.

On the orignal Cirrus you have a lot of pots and switches to make real time changes, on the (unconnected) TBD you have just 2 pots and two switsches + of course some CV and trig inputs. But the TBD Cloiuds implementation sounds good. Mikael

Caveat: Beware the CocoaDELAY!! , that seems to crash the TBD for me ... not got to the bottom of it yet but maybe something to do with a parameter assignment out of range ??

Ah thanks, worth knowing. How are you finding the oscillator options in there?
