I'm looking for a European online shop that does not charge me an arm and a leg for some components. Where do the Euro diy ers get their components?

I don't know where you live exactly, but in France I use multiple shops (depending of what they have in stock).

Occasionally I end up getting stuff from eBay or Amazon (e.g. large packs of resistors), but important stuff (like semiconductors and pots) I get from the following:

Yes I thought mouser was the way to go but they ship everything from the usa it seems and the shipping is ridiculous, or I have to come up with an order of over 50 euros.

Yes, most places seem to have free shipping if you order over a certain amount… i usually end up adding things rather than pay shipping (sometimes buying a component from a slightly more expensive supplier just to get there! Mouser charges are expensive otherwise)

I'm looking for a European online shop that does not charge me an arm and a leg for some components. Where do the Euro diy ers get their components? I can very very much recommend TME. (tme.eu) It's one of the only stores where it's easy to shop without being a Company, having a VAT number or all of this.. components are reasonably cheap, they have quite a lot of them, and the Quality is really good. Shipping is lightning fast, usually I have my stuff in 1-2 days. Most IC's and caps from my kits are sourced from them. Only problem for my own kits is they don't have small 1/8W resistors nor a lot of choice in small AE pots (usually these are either from Alpha or ALPS brand, which i think TME only has a few values of in stock). I have bad experience with RS, mouser and farnell,.. either it's impossible to shop as just a single customer, or the shipping is extremely costly, or the quantities need to be huge,.. I'm sure it's possible, but I had a lot of fights with their websites đŸ˜…
