Hey all! Been preparing packages + customs forms all day, so wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to anyone supporting last two weeks by buying some of my kits/modules. (All modules are still available on Tindie) Not only does it give me some more economic space to buy the last components for my last module release of the year, it also warms my heart to see that people are genuinely interested in some weird modules made in a small appartment in Belgium crazy to think these packages travel to all these different places, from Australia to USA & from UK to Finland. Anyone ordering a Five Steps gets it's package in a box, instead of the large, padded enveloppes used for the kits. If any buyers got some feedback on the packaging, its very welcome. First packages have arrived in good shape, but these will be the first to travel over the ocean. I also saw that Tindie charged double for packing in some cases (shipping costs from package + enveloppe), I will contact these buyers because of course the kits just go in the package as well, so double shipping cost is not needed from my side.. Anyway, some pictures of today & last weekends work! Pic quality has gone down since my camera lens on my phone got badly hit. Oh, and the bit of extra cash helped me buy an awesome batch of beautiful red WIMA caps that will fit right under the hood for my last (I think??) new module of this year. Thanks again, & cheers! Zeno / Kurt

That prototype module is holding some weight! Can't imagine it moves very fast with those big capacitors in there...

Hey, mine came quick. One will be for me and for a 2-tier I plan to finish building next year for a friend. The packaging was fine but there was a lot of empty space while I thought the shipping was kind of high. So I think look into seeing if you can use a box half the size and save some postage. Also, I think a slightly more squarish box would offer more protection (more space all around the module). I thought the stuffing inside was great, and just wrap it up with a bunch of tape.

It will be a (pretty easy) kit! Maybe, in the future, i will convert some kit designs to finished modules as well. But i'm first testing out the finished builds a bit longer with Five Steps. It brings quite some extra needs (both for space, time and gear).
