Hi John, I tried to change the firmware on my core.ae module today and somehow managed to mess up the process ... now it is completely unresponsive except for the reset button.
Short of going back in time and now screwing it up, is there anyway to get my core.ae working again?

Ah, that's not great (but don't worry, it can be solved!) When you say that the reset button works, what does it do? If you press the button does the LED come on (and if you hold it does it then go off?). If this happens then it seems that the bootloader itself is OK, and you may just need to try again. If it does not behave like this, then it may be that the bootloader has somehow become corrupted… that will need to be programmed in a different way  |

If it does not behave like this, then it may be that the bootloader has somehow become corrupted… that will need to be programmed in a different way That's good I use the headphone output of my laptop at full volume, so I haven't really experimented with audio levels etc. It is important to set the 'c' control to its mid-position before holding the reset button etc. In the past I have sometimes had a problem when playing audio from the website, I often end up downloading the source file (using the Direct Download link on the site) and playing it locally. |

I had a similar thing happen where I had an issue with my audio out from the computer which was fixed as soon as I put the audio through the 2signalamp. Worth a try I guess if still not working.

Got it! Apparently the signal from the computers headphone jack was too low on my mac mini, just got it to work by running it through my little usb DAC at full volume (lacking a 2sig amp at the moment).
