Hello,
Got to repatch my monster case. After couple of hours patching it I realised that the second channel of the 6mute stop letting stuff through. It was some triggers so I tried with gate and oscillators but still nothing getting on the other side. However, after rebooting the system it worked for 2 seconds and then stopped again. The weird things is that it does work for couple of seconds at every reboot which I can't really understand how it is possible? Anyway, any ideas what could be the problem or if I should remove it from the case and check something on it? Will go to the studio this afternoon so will try to check it again...
Thanks for any input!

Could it be a bad solderjoint, that fails when a component heats up? or a bad component that fails after heating up ?
Loooong time ago my SH101 had strange behaviour, and after reading about a dutch guy with the same problems who fixed it by reflowing every single solder joint on the main board, i did the same, but just for an area of the board, and the problem dissapered.
Now with modern SMD soldering it is probably less likely but not impossible for these problems to happen.

This might sound silly but if you reverse the flow does it work then?

Ok, Will try the other way around before to check the soldering.

lukylutte does the LED of the button switches on/off? Yes the led switch on/off. Ok, so there are not many possibilities... The suspect parts can be only R20 C10 R26 these three on the upper side of the board: and Q2 and R32 lower side of the board: Aaah, BTW: You wrote about gate and triggers; but 6MUTE is only for audio (with the special switching click-free). Although you tried it with oscillators too... Maybe you can find an issue with the mentioned parts; please keep me updated!

Sorry for the late update but wasn't able to check it before...
So I repatch it with an oscillator (as it was designed for) and it worked without problems for the 20min I have tried. I don't know if it was because it was first patched with triggers or something else (since oscillator also didn't work anymore). I should be able to make a lot longer jam this weekend to check if it's still working on a longer jam.
