Hello all,
I've just uploaded my introduction video for the TBD. It's fairly long, but it's an intense module. I hope you will find this helpful:

Apologies if i missed this in the video - out of interest, is it possible to assign more than one parameter to be controlled by the same knob? Like controlling the Wow and Flutter effect simultaneously? I’m sure it’s not but just a thought.

Sorry I didn't explain this in the video (I may have to make a few shorter ones to get into more details), but you can assign each knob or CV to any number of parameters at the same time.

Oh cool, that's good to know! Yeah this is a very complex module for sure, there's only so much you can cover in one video so no worries!

Quick question - does knob assignment always cover the full range, or can you have the knob sweep cover part of the range somehow? The old Nord modular morph groups are an example of this if I'm not being clear, or ask...

HI tIB, The behaviour of the knob assignment depends in part on the implementation of the plugin. Sometimes they cover the whole range, sometimes it gets added to the value set via the UI. Hope this helps.

Excellent video, as always.
I realize I don't use the Forum as I should but instead leave comments on YouTube (as John Hubbard) and Instagram (as JohnofFinland).
Here is a photo of my single standard "testing" case where I am now learning the TBD (side by side with Grains) as mentioned in my YouTube comment to this video. Above it is my new Mixer case that I created to free up my main case for sound generation, CV, filter and effects modules. The beauty of the mixer is that I can connect it via RackLink to my main system (to the side) -or- via the standard connection to my test case (as shown here). Of course, now that the Compact Mixer has come out (hooray!!!), this will likely morph & grow.
I like fader controls in a mixer, so... and what I realized today is - as seen here - I can run external sounds into the main mixer and run internal AE sounds into the second mixer to attenuate them BEFORE running them into the SwitchMatrix, into the main mixer. Of course this is very basic - no CV controls, no effects, no envelopes ... yet. (I keep the Mixer and 4I/O in the single case for mobile standalone use)
