Hello,
I'm trying to use the darkest time from the Hemisphere. I got as it should triggers on out C and D but no pitch cv in the A and B. Only steady pitch but no sequence... Any ideas what I should check?
On the settings page. All the scales and different roots are only giving the same pitch. Midi out, alt and In are Off. Trig/gate is on trigger (working as it should with the 2env)...
The few other app I tried on the O&C seems to work normally...
Any help would be really welcome ✌️

I think it has to do with the limited CV range of the AE O&C; what is the output voltage? Zero volts? Maybe there is some kind of offset/transpose in the program? (I'm not that familiar with this huge amount of O&C programs...)

Don't know what is going on. I noticed that the knobs were inverted. I tried to put them back. Somehow it works for a while. I rebooted the system and it's again the same. Now the knobs are inverted but not all the time depending the application. For example in hemisphere the right is inverted but not the left but when switching in dark times it's the left inverted in the first page and not the right. However, on the second page the left is not inverted...
What is lower tact switch in the calibration menu?
I saw also that nearer to the master has helped in an other thread.. I moved it one raw up but still the same. Should tried even nearer tomorrow..

I don't have anything to see but it does seems that it's an higher voltage comparing to where the oscillator is tuned to (maybe between 3 or 5). However, all the other sequencer despite the inverted knobs deliver a "proper" pitch sequence. |

I guess it wasn't clear but after when first switch back the knobs to normal the sequencer darkest time works normally and was able to get pitch sequenced. However after reboot it went back to only high pitch and inverted knobs. Seems like I don't know where lower tact switch as now by pushing the button nothing happens.

I've never used darkest time before but decided to test it to see if it works as expected.
I have a square wave from 2LFO going into trig 1 of O&C.
Out A of O&C going into cv1 of wavetables then into mixer.
(wavetable seems to work better in bi-pole mode with O&C)
I made a random sequence in O&C and then saved this.
Everything works as I expected, I can power off my AE modular and when I power back on O&C has the sequence loaded and starts playing it.

I think funbun had some problems with O&C not saving settings until he moved the module to the same enclosure as the Master power I/O

Yes, I had those problems, then moved the module closer to the PSU. But I still have problems with the o_C not holding a steady pitch, or randomly offsetting a sequence, and sometimes playing the same pitch even though I've encoded and entire sequence. These sound like similar problems that you're having. I'm using standard and mostly Sequins and Quantermain. The fact that you may be having similar problems with a totally different firmware set tells me there may be something more amiss with this module.
I'm probably going to send my unit back to Germany. IMO, o_C is too complex for reliable performance. I would rather each program be its own module with lots more buttons and knobs.

Ok. I have installed it just near the master.
Somehow the knobs were right away ok and not reversed. I noticed that on enigma junior the pitch change with note-7 but nothing else works. On darkest side the pitch cv is sequenced only when the scale is turned off. On any other scale it only gives high pitch. I was able to save some preset but after the second reboot of the system it gets back to only high pitch in any setting. Also, It did froze couple of times when trying to change the setting in the darkest time app. Seems like I gonna send it back...

Now, after an hour of playing with it and getting the same result all the time. I found a way to get pitch sequenced after rebooting in both applications.
On darkest time since the preset is saved on scale off, I need to move it to a scale and back to off. After it works. However, if I change the roots it always freeze after couple of change but the roots pitch is never affected.
On the enigma the output A give the best sequence when on Mod or expression. Note-3 to 6 don't work and only gives high pitch. If output A is note-7 it gives a week/weird sequence.
So basically I found work around in both application but the main point of having quantizer and own scales is totally lost...

Also bonus points for BootsNcat which doesn't sound at all like in kick and snare but more like a square wave bass without attack and a noisy click. I know it's supposed to be lo-fi but comparing to some examples in the YouTube video it's not even close to be the same spirit of sounds...
