Hey all!
I've had some really busy months with great moments, like seeing so much beautiful folks over at Superbooth Berlin! That said, it has also been taking it's toll as I also had a really busy work schedule (I'm a teacher, so it's with ups and downs ). Coming two weeks I'm on a long holiday (Primavera Sound Barcelona!), but after that I'll be back with a lot of time to finally make some progress on some promised modules.
Anyway, time for the update of what is DONE already!
The 'What's Sub' sub-oscillator was a suprise release of mine at Superbooth! It takes an oscillator as input and delivers a -1 Oct, -2 Oct and -1.75 Oct (more on that last one later?!?) as output. Or it takes a square LFO / clock as input and divides it.. So nothing suuuupernew, but it will be available in 1/3U as a kit! For anyone looking for a super straightforward, few components builds. I think this will be the ultimate starter soldering kit. It will hit my store once the micromodules & micromodule base board gets rolled out by Tangible Waves.
In other good news: the 555 VCO is up and running, and is very promising.. Together with m4vrick we managed to get a working, 2U prototype running, and I'm very pleased by its sound and tracking capabilities. As we speak, I just ordered the frontplates for a 5 module prototype run with should get to beta testers soon. This is a necessary phase, as I want to make sure that the module tracks in as much 'extreme' circumstances as possible. Tracking at a steady 21°C, non-humid room is one thing, we'll see how it fares in the more spicy climates of some AE users coming months! And if that stage is a success, we'll be seeing this module on my store page this year!
Anyway, hope you're all doing great, and see you around!
Cheers
