Ooh I get some M.I.A. mc-303 groovebox vibes over this (in the most positive way not in a flat earth antivaxxer way). If you look on soundcloud and/or bandcamp you will find a whole sub culture playing with gender identity, and distorted 8bit sounds bitcrushing the white privilege of yesterday into fine diamonds. The only thing this track is missing iare some facemelting vocals on the edge of hysteria.
It's like your modem decided to sing you the song of its people, instead of completing the dial-up connection. Is that NORNS doing the Nes sounds?

thanks pt3r love this description!  fun fact, a person just got hired at work recently and believes the world is flat, at the edge is the ice and just past that is eden.................I'll leave that there. Looked up M.I.A maybe I should buy a vocoder  Didn't use the Norns on this one, was all Ae. Pretty sure it was the Solina for that NES sound. Wish I'd written a patchogram now as can't recall directly as did it a few weeks back. I've finished another patch though and using your beats that are being triggered by the Norns. It's an xmas Carol of course. |

What do you use to produce the psychedelic videos? It looks wild and fantastic! thanks Mafic_Pulse I use the Video synth by catfullofghosts www.catfullofghosts.xyz/and also the free software called Shotcut. Sometimes I project the video Synth onto the wall above the system and sometimes I will plug the synth into the TV and record it with the phone then use Shotcut to add some effects. An easy way to produce psychedelic videos without the videosynth is video your Ae with your phone while moving it about, making sure you move across all the blinking lights and patch cables (or really anything that has lots of colour, outdoors, gardens etc) then load into shotcut and add some effects like contrast, posterise, mirror, reflect settings and viola. oh and lots of ergot pt3r Happy to go through anything in more detail if you are interested. here is a quick video I did a little while ago re shotcut too which may help |
