As some of you know I also study saxophone and for my EOY exam I will have to perform lonely woman by the late Ornette Coleman.

Now since I have no access to a Don Cherry or a Charly Haden, my teacher suggested that I make my own interpretation of the piece and perform it against an abstract soundsc(r)ape that I make myself on the AEmodular. No sure whether I will shlepp my modular to the exam and patch up my backdrop live before taking on the piece but I hope to be able to keep you posted on the evolution of this.
