This one is full AEmodular, so no external sequencing was used.
I am running the 3 percussive voices from my homegrown AEclidian module using 3 of its 4 channels that are configured to respond to the same input (i.e. channel 1), taking its clock pulse from an LFO square pulse. 2 AEclidian channels do not only trigger the voice envelopes but were also trigger my two SEQ8 modules whose output are sent to 2VCO for generate a modulated bit-reduced saw wave which is fed into the modulating WAVEFOLDER followed by the SV Filter. Kick drum is the MS20 into LOPAG and the 3rd percussive element is some ALGODRONE which also doubles as backdrop sound source. The 4 voices are mixed into the MIXER 4-4 and subsequently fed into MULTIFX for some light karplus-like dusting to generate extra sparkle.

oh cool! I wrongly assumed it was either the blackbox or Tracker. Got to love extra sparkle

Sometimes it's easier to do the seemingly random sequences on the AEmodular instead of a midi sequencer where you're always locked to some form of a grid. It's much easier to dial in a polymetric sequence on the AEclidian module than it would be to program the same thing on the tracker for example. And it's just really great fun to do everything inside the AE modular without resorting to external gear.
