Keep your pitch signals and your gate signals separated for more interesting sequencing. Make sure they keep the same clock but not the same rhythm.
This example uses only 1 SEQ8 yet the different melodies are less static because the gate signals for the different voices are not the same as the gate signal operating the SEQ8.
