In the past, I mostly did 'one patch per track', each time starting from scratch. Lately however, I've been 'letting the patch live' for a longer time, recording different jams while slowly making small changes. It's really fun to gravitate to a sound this way. Right now I'm jamming out on a lot of semi-generative, minimal techno, and its a ton of fun to just switch the power on and have a sequence running instantly. So, MS20 is on main kick duty, coming in after a good minute. Rest of the drums & bassline is all Wonkystuff micromodules. Lead sound & metallic percussion sound are the 555 Oscillator. Sequencing is done with a variety of modules (Euclid Grid, Topograph, TRIQ164, RBSS, Quantizer). If anyone digs this type of music, I have three other tracks with the same patch (two minimal techno, one drone) over on my soundcloud: soundcloud.com/zzzvm
