I really tried to get something done for Patch Challenge #14 ... but I just couldn't get anything done that I liked. So luckily Gaëtan asked about the CV input on the Delay module and I didn't know what it does. So I tried a few patches and then came up with this: So I'm putting a simple ping from the 2OSC-2 into the Delay and patching a random voltage via S&H from the Noise module into the Delay CV ... I have no idea what it really does, but it seems like it's changing the delay time in weird ways which gives the whole thing some movement. The delay module also has two additional inputs so I patched another oscillator into IN1 with a simple 3 note sequence .. just for fun.. This patch also has the Nyle filter self resonating at a very low frequency and then going into the lowpass filter of the Wasp. This creates a very very deep grumbling that you can almost feel in the depth of your bones. This is also the very first time that I've recorded the sound using my PC and Audacity. The video is just a "fly" over my new music desk setup, please excuse my shaky hands.

Very nice, admin, and a good heads-up on the headphones My little work machine wouldn't have coped as you threw out those depth charges. That's a nice base for some fun sequencing or some looooong notes...

The deep bass is very nice, it remind me a bit of an helicopter if I may say so.

Your reply post was sublime..... "Escape from Apocalypse New York?", that's a great mash-up theme for sure!
Was'nt it Escape from Los Angeles where they surfboarded the tidal waves?

Was'nt it Escape from Los Angeles where they surfboarded the tidal waves? Yes! And just a few days ago I found this hilarious review of the movie:
