I’m pondering the speed of LFOs , .. recently I built a THC Recursive Machine but swapped out the capacitors on the LFO’s for higher values to get a 16 second cycle instead of the 4 or 5secs with the normal specs .. i realized i ( and others surely ) really could do with some slllooooooowwwww LFO action in AE. I would love it if i could swap or bridge a capacitor in the MODULATORS module or maybe get a uLFO and mod them .. yes i know it will be fiddly but does anyone ( robertlanger ) have an idea which components might work for this? i could do with getting nearer to 40 or 50 seconds a cycle. Workarounds would also be welcome from you clever ae commandos.

Not a big deal; I will integrate it for the next batch. The biggest problem is not to forget it ;-)

I myself had trouble (among other things) for the slow sloth to find large enough caps that still fit the boards/height for a slow oscillation.

A looping envelope in slow mode? Not sure how long you can set the attack an decay times but that should give pretty slow saw wave lfos.

Sorry to keep on posting, but come to think of it, the AEuroPi also has a 'harmonic lfo' script which gives a ton of LFO's that can go very slow as well.

ooh hello, i didn’t notice that one ... vera interesting !! but, I was hoping for something i could adapt in the ‘multi purpose’ ie: Modulators module OR the uLFO .. I’m trying to work with the smallest systems right now .. small & slllooooowwwwww

Yeah, a super slow ENV on the loop would be a great work around. Envelops are just another kind of CV.

I've done very slow changes on filter cut off with the Joystick module, just moving it a tiny bit on each repeat of the bassline I think it was. For those of you without a Sloth (I use that module most of the time when wanting slow CV now ).

Been droning away with the 2ENV on slow looping duty today, it does go slooow, and slower than Sloth. Not 'ultraslow' multiple-minutes territory, but still pretty damn slow. Good tip, thanks maestro pt3r !! In order to get some extra movement & chaos, I also patched the first envelope into the second one's "attack CV" in, and patched the second one back into the first one's "decay CV" in. (ofc you should not put attack & decay knobs at max in this case, or the CV will do nothing)

The 1 isn't a Typo, just means there is no change upwards rather then putting a CV in will change it regardless....

In Ornament and Crime (sequins I think) you can set square frequency pulses to 'Glacial', which takes 18 hours to pulse.
