Hey all!
Ambient track/patch which I made. Had great fun using the quickswap case prototype together with the Microcosm. The Microcosm can record some loops & overdubs, and i used this to 'store' a previous patch with the case in its loops. After this i swapped some modules for other ones, and adjusted the patch. This way i could gradually 'merge' my old patch with the new one, tons of fun with a small rack this way.
Other new thing i tried: controlling the Solina chord changes with BioT. Tried to wire up two pads to make the chords go 'down', and two pads to make them go up. I noticed that the triggering was however very unreliable, unless i licked my fingers. Like a lot. They seemingly had to be wet a decent amount, i guess for conductivity issues? I know my appartement has super dry air, so that might be part of the issue? (and i dont sweat too much either haha) Anyway, was cool to control the chords this way while it worked.
Main sound sources are Solina through SVFilter, and Algodrone through Wasp. The loop also uses some Algodrone recordings, and also the 2Osc/d square waves going through an XOR gate for some droning deep bass.
Cheers!
Kurt/Zeno

keurslagerkurt is it one of the first silver/white versions... i don’t find the silver as good a conductor as the gold/black v2 unfortunately... but a good trick is to patch a +5v to a central pad on the BioT if there is one available ( prob on the breadboard at least ).. then you can get much more signal from the pads... licking/damp sponge is still v. useful and has always been the circuit benders ‘spanish fly’
