Why use modules what they're designed for if you can do it more complicated with another module. This time I decided repurpose my 4COMP as a frankenstein clone of keurslagerkurt 's 5 Steps, to sequence a drunken Wonkystuff beat over a 555 bass line and an algodrone rainy cloudy backdrop.

Five Steps is basically a 4 Comp + 4 ATT/CV's in a small small package, so you're pretty much nailing it! (and you have more control over the triggers with the 4COMP) A new zombie Five Steps will be resurrected sometime soon as well, after more than two years out of stock

4comp is basically my Mcgyver module. Coming to think of it you could patch 5 steps probably as a rudimentary pentatonic quantizer.

I made it for myself to get tunable/quantizable arpeggio's in 1U. If you combine it with RBSS for example, you get a pentatonic quantizer! 😄
