Might need a spellcheck on that title, though the good news is the axoloti core is back in smaller format. Looking forward to grabbing one at Thonk some time soon - I'll be using it with the AE system one way or another... Interested to know whether I can fit it behind a panel... Like Axoloti, no analog CV in, but one line in and out, balanced at zero of course. :-( Lots of GPIOs though. See also zrna.org/akso

The akso was a bit of a nightmare - I've better hopes for this one. I used to run my axoloti, loaded with MPE patches, into the AE system via 2 signal amp until it developed an issue - I'll be doing the same with this I imagine, powering it from the AE rack and using the pin outs into the system.

Well I was just imagining how to fit a Ksoloti in an AE Modular module. It'd require 3U I think. :-(

I’ve been seeing some glimmers of a neat process, enabled by IMDI, one that I definitely imagine countless others have developed for themselves before with VCV, pure data, etc.
Explore a sequencing method in AE, replicate the method on my Ksoloti Gills to send MIDI to the AE. The Ksoloti patch serves as both patch notes, and also enables me to re-deploy my AE modules to work on another part of the patch. Also, I can just record MIDI coming from Ksoloti to record audio from the AE as many times as I want from a given patch.
Fun stuff, especially when I'm puzzling through how to replicate an AE module in the Gills patcher, and saving that sub-patch to my library to be re-used later!
