2SLOTH online on tindie! Note: this was online on Tindie for a few days (had no chance to make the forum post at the pc due to a busy schedule) and is sold out already! We are already working hard on the second batch, so make sure to hit the wait list button if you want one! www.tindie.com/products/bfsynths/bf-21-slow-chaotic-modulation-2sloth-for-ae/Slow, slower, sloth
2SLOTH is a slow, chaotic modulation/CV source for the AE Modular format. It is an adaptation of the legendary Eurorack "Sloth" circuit from Non Linear Circuits. Each 'Sloth' has three, slowly moving outputs which are perfect for modulating parameters to bring your patches alive. The top Sloth has a 'cycle time' of around 15sec, while the bottom one usually has a cycle time of 30-40sec. I say usually, because the Sloth chooses what it does, the LFO has no fine control and changes with every oscillation. Each output can 'orbit' around two different CV points (read: the lfo can be 'centered' around two different axes), and can change from the one center to the other, seemingly at random. You can influence the chance of it to change it's orbit with the pot, but do not expect a lot of control, because that is not the point. There are no inputs, the Sloths go their own ways. Outputs of each Sloth:- x: output swinging over a large voltage range
- y: another, different output swinging over a smaller voltage range
- z: the inverted output of y
