Both FX channels of VMIX10 are POST-fader. I saw several posts in other forums who would like to have PRE-FX channels.
Good news: it's quite simple to do the modification yourself.
This is the required change in the schematics to change FX1 to PRE: (Sorry, I do not know how to resize the images in this forum - maybe open the images in a separate browser tab or different app to zoom in):
These steps need to be done for the channels 1 - 6 on each channel:
Connect pin 3 of the FX-Send Pot on the board with PIN 3 of the Level Pot. Cut the trace below pin 3 of the FX-Send Pot. What actually happens with these steps is that you disconnect FX1 from the Post-Fader side of the Level Pot and connect it to the Pre-fader side.
In reality it looks like that (the cut traces are hard to see):
And here the Mixer after the modification:
It works like a charm and at least for my use case makes the mixer more versatile! Have fun.

Nice work!
On a side note: what the heck is that standalone Mutable Instruments thing??

Nice work!
On a side note: what the heck is that standalone Mutable Instruments thing?? Looks like a Shruthi. You can still get clones from the least comprehensible web site I've seen since the late 90s. www.tubeohm.com/phoenix-shruthi.html
