Now that the dust has settled after #synthfestuk here’s a small update on the new stuff we showed.
Some reflection on products etc has been done — there’s definitely an interest in AE, but it’s maybe still not as widely known as it might be 😁
- mco/1b — updated version of the original mco/1 with a button! 11 CC-controllable parameters (CC learn allows the actual CCs to be remapped); 32 preset wave combinations; 10 user-programmable locations. Polychain mode (accessed by sending the ‘poly mode’ CC 127) forwards note data out of the ‘x’ output.
- ‘playa’ — simple MIDI percussion module, contains 8 sounds from the Korg minipops, mappable across the keyboard. 3 effects controlled by CC: bitcrush; sample-rate reduction and pitch (not for playing tunes!!)
- μBaseLite — a ‘power-only’ base for micro modules, bundles will probably be available on the website!
- env/4 — demonstrated but not ready yet, a quad AR envelope generator with common controls; use case is for polyphonic setups where each note will require the same dynamics.
