Thank you both for the nice words! funbun : A while ago I followed this tutorial from the tape experiment veterans over at 'Battery Operated': I made a super simple tape loop using their tips, it lasts below 10 seconds, but its great fun. It's very warbly (you can hear that there often is a 'bump' moment, where the tape slows down for a second and then catches up), and I use it with a cheap second hand Tascam four-track which I got last year. So I can record four loops on the small tape, I can mix and pan them live, and I can also reverse by popping in the tape the other way. Good experimental drone fun! Only sad thing is the Tascam has nog EQ, that would be even better for live performance. You can see the tapeloop and four-track recorder in this video:
