So I have two Nanos (well, actually Nano Everys, but it'll work). A Nano *just barely* fits on the BRAEDBOARD with one column to spare, not including the far left column. The question is: how can we construct a minimal GRAINS module with the column space of the lower half of the BRAEDBOARD remaining? We'd need space to do the digital out and audio out with the filter (maybe no buffer?), three pots maybe + 1 analog in, or perhaps two or one pot with analog ins for the rest. Is there enough space? Any ideas how to cram it in there?

That sounds very tricky. Got me thinking though, might be fun to play around with one of the small samd21 boards on the braedboard. Built-in dac, mozzi support, I guess you’d have to scale adc inputs down to 0-3.3v, or you could rely heavily on IMDI for control purposes.

I managed to squeeze a nano inside an AE diy kit module, but the braedboard module seems indeed a bit more challenging.
