I spent the past couple of weeks creating an ambient drone music piece entirely on my AE Modular. It’s called WÆVER and it’s out now digitally and on cassette! YouTube TrailerListen to it on Bandcamp: nightmachines.bandcamp.com/album/w-verCassettes: Free download codes: w597-35lv c8yd-wfp8 pnue-hp72 8w5g-52ph x7j9-bnj5 Redeem one here: nightmachines.bandcamp.com/yumI really enjoyed making this and I’m very happy with the sound collages that the AE Modular let me come up with. The whole piece consists of around 50 individual recordings mixed together as a 20-minute stereo piece, with only very gentle mastering applied. So the full character of the AE Modular system is maintained

Thank you ery much for the free codes, I used this one: c8yd-wfp8
Your video trailer is really well done! i'll now listen to the full thing, but damn that's the kind of atmosfer I like!
Out of curiosity, have you used external effect in the process?

Out of curiosity, have you used external effect in the process? Thank you There are no external effects. I only used a very gentle compressor and an EQ with a low cut and a subtle high shelf reduction (is it called like that?) on the whole 20-minute thing at the end. My effects in the rack are the MultiFX, Lofi Delay and Spring Reverb with an Intellijel micro tank (the blue plastic one).

Got a fairly serious amount of studio time in then! Yeah, I managed to sneak some time in here and there and recorded a few minutes every day or two

I just played this whilst reading a few sections of a synth manual - lots of bottom end still there
I really enjoyed it, NightMachines, an excellent release in its own right, but all the more impressive as you have mined the depths (literally in some cases) of the AE Modular. In particular, I'm impressed that you managed to use only the on-board effects.
Switching on my blue light...

Thank you! It was an interesting experiment and I feel I still haven’t reached to bottom of the AE Modular’s possibilities yet by far for music like this. So I’m already thinking about a next all-AEM release.
It was also fun to use almost no traditional sequencing at all. Most transitions and variations are played by hand, simply by turning knobs and using my pressure sensor DIY module.

I'm very impatient to get my MulltiFX and play with it.
Great work as usual, congratualtions
