Does anyone else have problems with the master module gate getting stuck? It happens on my one daily or almost daily, mostly (or everytime, idrk) after longer usage. I just send midi notes to it. Didn't find a way to force it, tried fast arpeggios, overlapping notes and more. The only solution to get it back working normal is pulling the power cable.

Do you have the possibility to check it with an alternate MIDI source? What is your current MIDI source?
If it happens, you can reset by switching the CHAN switch one time forth and back.

The midi source is the akai force. Between it and the ae is a kenton thru 5. My other synth and stuff doesn't do that. So I believe it's not the akai. But sure, it could be the combination of these two. I don't know what else it does send. I don't think I did stop, but what happens if I do while a note is playing, before the gate off is sent? It should work normal when the next note is sent, right? It should stop the note anyways I believe.
OK now I found out if I fire a 64th triplet arpeggio with 144 bpm in, it always gets stuck. It doesn't happen if the arpeggio is shorter than half a second or a second. But I normally don't use so many notes in a short time.

I had this problem with other midi gear, and they can be various filtering of messages going on that you don' know about. This isn't my experience of Kenton however, it sounds from your other post like you may just be overloading the midi buffer in the master module for which Robert has already given you the reset. Like when a computer is stalled, the worse thing you can do is lots of key presses etc. as when it comes back it then does them all... If you have the original master module Robert has updated it and the new one is much better, I bought it a few months ago and well worth it.

I have the newer one and I was also thinking it's something with the buffer. If you have the time, you could try the 144bpm 64th triplets... Maybe it doesn't happen with your setup? But this was just a test and it often freezes after longer usage and I don't use such fast notes normally.

Tried today and all OK being triggered over midi from a Minibrute2, studio wasn't on for a long time though (1/2 hour or so). I had one thought which was to try just set the tempo with midi, and then use one of the divider modules to get the timing(s) you want, may stop your glitches. I ran my SEQ16 module at 160 bpm at everything from 1/2 to 1/32 and didn't fall over. The Minibrute2 sequencer triggered my AE fine over Midi at 160 bpm but didn't try 1/64th triplets. Did try playing really fast though! I also tried waggling the mod wheel etc. which can fill up Midi pretty quickly, and all ran OK.
