www.tangiblewaves.com/blog/august-2018-new-multifx-module-and-other-updateslots of interesting things... new multifx improvements to existing modules, env, noise, vca (the new env sounds excellent!) new case design im also quite interested in this: perhaps we can get some more details from robertlanger on this ... also a quick update on rack link (hint ) ... though, now I guess there is a question if to wait for the new case design, before extending my existing case... decisions, decisions great to see AEM moving ever forward, what caught your interest?

im also quite interested in this: perhaps we can get some more details from robertlanger on this ... If you look closely at the MultiFX module in Felix' video you can see that the patch sockets are now different.

Really surprised how great the MultiFX turned out. Love the design of it and how it sounds.
Now I gotta decide If I need to STEP16 or FX more D:

cool, I wonder if we could buy a stack of these to solder onto existing modules I'm sure you could. They're widely available. I just searched for "round pin headers" and found them: Maybe there are also taller ones.

Regarding the new pin sockets: the ones in the photo are too low; for AEmodular they need to be 10mm high. I ordered custom made ones; if anybody wants to swap them you can get them of course! I expect them to arrive in 1 or 2 weeks.

your googlefu is stronger than mine NightMachines they seem mainly to be on eBay - with little specs, though one I found said they were 7.5mm, so too short as robertlanger said. I'll be no doubt prepping a new order soon for tangible, once the racklink is available... so if the headers are available I'll perhaps give it a go. I think the desoldering of the originals is the laborious part of the job, which im not great at, perhaps perhaps with practice, it'll not be too bad ... but will try one or two modules to see. (I'll grab a desolder pump, as i dont find it easy with the braid i have) Im also going to order some more patch cables too from robertlanger, esp. if these have improved. are the these now the longer round ones, which I have some of... longer presumably means more stability/better contact, but I don't like the fact they are slightly too long for headers so stick out a couple of mm. (Im sure its fine, just aesthetics )
