Hi, Does anybody what the current approximate order delivery times are ? To those who got something delivered recently, how long was time between order and delivery ? I ordered a rack about 2 months ago.

As the responsible one for shipping and delays I want to answer: Due to my health issues the last months a huge pile of open orders has built up; at the moment I'm shipping indeed systems that were ordered 7-8 weeks ago. I know this is an awful waiting time, but, be sure, I do my best to improve the situation. This works on the one hand because I'm recovered now mostly and, additionally, I have a production help now. My sincere apologies for the long waiting and a huge thank you for the patience of almost everyone!

Yeah i can attest to that. It took a few months to receive my order but Robert was very nice and answered my inquiries quickly and kept me updated. The u.s.p.s. on the other hand decided to hold on to it at customs for 2 weeks. Then after making a phone call to the post office my order ping ponged back and forth across 3 states for another week before finally landing in my possession.

A note for new US buyers, I skipped the line and bought from Noisebug. Got it in two days (I have no idea how much stock they have, send them an email)

Actually, it kinda sounds normal. I bought a Dynacord Echocord Super 76 a couple of months back from a seller on Reverb.com who was in Berlin. He explained that once a DHL package gets to the port of departure, it's somewhere in a container on a boat, and this transit takes a couple of weeks in decent weather. Then it arrives in the USA, gets held up by customs for a couple of days, and then the tracking switches to USPS but still uses the DHL tracking info. Once it's in the USA, it tends to take about 4-5 days from clearing customs to delivery as the package moves through the postal system in the US. Total time: 24 days, if I remember correctly.
You COULD have it air expressed...but that's not cheap for international items. Besides, things like this are worth waiting for!

Been only 2 weeks since my order for my first system, I'm already planing my extension box if some of the new modules are coming available for sell while waiting for it... With my GAS this is way better than with eurorack. I used to spend more time on internet for looking at new toys than making music. Now just one site to refresh once a day (OK maybe every two hours at work ) and that's it back to actually making noises! BTW still really waiting for it....

Besides, things like this are worth waiting for! Didn't want to imply it wasn't worth the wait, I mostly meant watching the ping-ponging of a package can be frustrating. I know from experience

Yep...and when they do, they're not going to require a 2nd mortgage or pawning everything I own. The plan at present for expanding Gargantua is to simply add a fifth 2 x 20 in front of the stand with the other four. That way, when Robert gets future things like the performance mixer, controllers, etc sorted and into production, the upgrade won't cost anything prohibitive...just add the cab, add a power pigtail with a ferrite to the Tek supply and a MASTER (or POWER, when it comes out) to the cab, and there you go! And in this case, adding a few modules at a time can be done via Air Express since there's no massive items involved.

What are the shipping costs to the US? Also, has the backlog/wait time gotten any better? What are we looking at currently?

Another AE perk for US buyers: the tariff "line" for electronic music equipment from Germany is $800. Above that, you owe an extra 2.5% to US CBP...but if the item(s) is lower than that, there's no duty. And since the AE isn't so spendy, well......

In Denmark we don't pay import taxes for goods imported from other EU countries. But if we import from outside EU you can add 25% + a couple of exorbitant fees. Glad Germany is in the EU :-)

Are all orders subject to same delay? I’m wondering if I could order a load of new cables and get them delivered via letter post? But I do understand it adds complications to have different order types/shipping methods. I guess another option might be a delivery option to superbooth , I did that with Koma and Bela last year

Just got an update! Schedule for this week! Cannot complained as part of the delay is me adding modules... Got a gig in mars so might even have time to get familiar with it to bring it along... exciting! I fantasized about doing a live unboxing in the middle of the dance floor and getting people to help me assemble it. Timing didn't work out that way and Robert had kindly mounted all the extra modules I ordered on top of the standard system.
There's an electronic music open-mic in Sydney at the end of each month, so there is still another chance for me in Feb if my order comes in - or March.

I'm in UK, ordered a complete system with some additional modules towards the end of September last year, but not received the system or had any updates since. I don't mind waiting, but the silence is a bit worrying!

November order of a few modules has shipped today for me (!)
pampel my guess is yours is not too far off now. You probably had a few modules that were in production (not in stock at their assembly shop). They do not follow up between the time of order and shipment (unless you reach out). You will get an auto email when shipped.

I reached out a month or so ago and not heard back, but yes you're right that I had a couple of newer modules that are probably part of the reason for the delay. Here's hoping it arrives soon, and congrats on your delivery!
