Hey, I was wondering if it would be possible to link the forum with www.tangiblewaves.com/ or to add a client space in it? So we could see the order status and be able to add or change some item without having to use the contact form when the order is only on the waiting list. For example I already used that form couple of time to add stuff but only got a reply once. Since it's always sent with a "no reply" email one need to always use the contact form again. Now just wondering if I should start a contact form again for nothing if anyway it have been taken into account or if the extension case won't have bus cable . I might be wrong but I guess it would decrease spam emails (at least mine ) if you see right away where your order is...

Hi lukylutte, that is not a bad idea, however the website is based on Weebly, a great, easy to use but a bit inflexible ecommerce system. Weebly just doesn't support client view of their order, etc. I agree that this would make things a lot easier for people to see where their order is up to and to add or change their order before it gets sent, but Weebly just doesn't support it. Please don't believe that your contact requests are seen as spam. Robert takes every contact seriously and will update his production schedule accordingly even when he doesn't immediately get back to you.

Thanks for the info. I definitely don't have any clue how to do an internet site/shop... Just trying to resist disturbing the building works with my continuous order changes. I guess it's even better like this as otherwise I would have already add or removed daily some items for the past 3 months and now it "only" happened twice.

I actually have a follow up question regarding the ordering process for anyone who has made an order in the past. Did you guys receive an email or anything when your modules or system has shipped? I'm really excited to get my system (as I'm sure everyone always is when they order on here), and like lukylutte said, there's not a good way to track order process without sending an email, and also like lukylutte said, I don't want to waste time with a "Hey, how's my order coming along?" type of email. It is well known and documented that due to the small operation and other factors, there is a bit of a wait after an order. I don't want to seem impatient, but I just want to be sure I'm here when the package gets delivered.

Worry not...when a system goes out, it goes out with tracking info and you'll get an email with that, bill of shipment, etc.
As for the Weebly thing...what I'll wind up doing is to keep the TW site in one tab in Firefox while the Forum is up in another. This lets me jump back and forth easily. Weebly has a few (!?) drawbacks that I know Robert's aware of; one thing I know I (and others) would like to see is a version of AE Grid that works more like what Roger Arrick has with Synthbuilder on his synthesizers.com website. Basically, linking the price lists and ordering forms with Grid so that you could see a running tally as you build of modules, cases, etc...and then if/when you were 100% sure you'd gotten the result you wanted, a way to "publish" that to the ordering forms which would also send a copy of your build for layout reference. But...well, Weebly...
OTOH, having a Weebly site means anyone can maintain it, for the most part. And NOT having an IT department at li'l ol' Tangible Waves is definitely part of the equation that keeps those costs down!

Well I bought some modules a couple of times, and not always got shipping info to my email. So I can confirm Kobs Works 's note. I think it's related to how big or small your ordered package is and how it's going to be sent. Last time it happened - had to email Robert asking about the shipping status - because I haven't received any info, and it seems it was shipped and the package was already sitting in my local post's office, but I haven't received any note from the post either. So yeah - sometimes you have to double-check and maybe write an email to Robert. I understand it's not his fault either.
