Has anyone found the correct machine pin headers? I ordered some off of the internet but they look like they are ~ .6 mm vs the new style patchwires are ~ .8 mm. I built some DIY stuff with the old square style female headers but they do not feel good at all when you plug the new patchwires in. Edit: Since I've seen this come up a few times, I will post here. I think I found something that works on mouser. Perci-Dip Part number 801-87-020-10-001101 It fits .7 mm to .9 mm wires. Mouser Link: www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Preci-dip/801-87-020-10-001101?qs=sGAEpiMZZMs%252BGHln7q6pm485q53MaQQ%2FOYs2to3BGQE%3D I will update to see if these work or not.

I've been using the cheap headers linked in the DIY Beginner's Guide from AliExpress, also square-holed, and I can confirm that they suck. Feels like shoving a sewing needle through leather with your fingertips until the hole loosens up. Even after it does, it's a difficult connection to make and still manages to feel flimsy.
Glad you did this! I'm excited for your update.

Just a quick follow up, the Perci-Dip headers work nicely!
