So, I'll pop gig photos, videos and recordings here.
I played as a warm-up act for an album launch by Kl(aüs), an Australian duo who make gorgeous 70s Berlinesque synth music.
Unfortunately, in the set-up we forgot to record me from the desk and I have not seen any video so, this time, it's just going to be a couple of photos to show that , yes, you can hang AE from a guitar strap (although you will need to reinforce a few things).
At the moment, it's a mixture of AE modules and LittleBits modules on the 'lower' (upper in the picture) case with four NovaDrones and an ancient Korg kaos pad mini for reverbs etc. The whole thing runs on ten rechargeable AA batteries (yes, the AE can run happily off 12v input). The rig is fairly light-weight.
In a few weeks, I'll swap out the Korg and the NovaDrones for my in-transit AE modules when they arrive. I love the NovaDrones so I am thinking to see if I can hang them from a separate strap. Then, it would be tempting to add the Makenoise 0-Coast, and the SQ1 sequencer ...
Those aluminum cases will add weight pretty quickly though. I doubt I can wear it all and still actually play.
